VLIR-UOS

A limited number of scholarships is offered by VLIR-UOS for participants from developing countries. For details on the application procedure, please consult the VLIR-UOS website.

Using the pre-screening form, you can pre-register for our two-year Master of Biology – Specialisation Human Ecology. A Scientific Committee, established by the programme director, will evaluate the candidate’s academic qualifications and data provided through the pre-screening form. All correspondence will be trough electronic mail. A reply regarding the evaluation of the pre-screening will be sent to all applicants. If you receive a positive answer to your pre-application we will provide the final application forms. Only complete final application files will be considered.

BTC

Citizens of countries with bilateral agreements with Belgium can apply through the Belgian Embassy for a scholarship from the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC). For details and procedures, please contact the Belgian diplomatic representation in your country or consult the BTC-website. Similarly, citizens of countries that have bilateral agreements with the Flemish community can apply for a scholarship. For details, please consult the website of the Flemish community.

EEA Merit Scholarships

For the academic year 2012-2013 VUB offers ten scholarships of 5000 euro/year for tuition fees and/or a compensation of part of the living expenses to international EEA students who enroll in Biology.

Deadline for application is 15th of March.
